Step 1
Position Vaportite over the drain
Place Vaportite™ over the drain or sewer opening, ensuring the containment pool extends beyoun all edges of the opeing to provide complete coverage.

Hot work and welding
Vaportite™ creates a secure hydrostatic seal that helps protect nearby workers by limiting flammable vapor release during welding, cutting, and other hot work.

Fill with water to create the seal
Fill Vaportite™ with enough water to create a secure hydrostatic seal, preventing vapors and liquids from passing through the drain.
