Vaportite is a portable, water-filled containment system designed to create a temporary hydrostatic seal over drains, sewer openings, manholes and other potential pathways for vapors or spilled liquids.
Originally developed for refinery environments, Vaportite helps control vapor migration during turnarounds, hot work and maintenance activities. The same adaptable design provides emergency response teams with a rapid-deployment solution for helping prevent spills from entering storm drains, sewer systems and waterways.
Position Vaportite over the opening and fill it with water. The flexible, heavy-gauge PVC construction conforms to the surrounding surface to create a temporary seal without specialized installation equipment.

Vaportite is available in multiple models and sizes to accommodate a range of openings and containment requirements.

the Model 2800 accommodates a 32" square or 36" round sewer opening.
